Dear Neighbor,
I hope this note greets you, your family and your friends healthy and well. I am writing to provide you with an update on the property in Montclair commonly referred to as “0 Harriet Ave.”
Based on the expression of interest from the Quincy City Council with support from Mayor Koch, the Mayor’s Administration has applied to the city’s Community Preservation Fund for $1.9 million to acquire the 0 Harriet Ave. property so that it can remain as open space. The Community Preservation Committee will hear this request tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, at 5:00 p.m. via remote conferencing.
For the ensured success of this request, I strongly urge you to share your favorable sentiments on this request with the Committee. You have the opportunity to share your sentiments and comments during the meeting or you can send written letters of support to Ms. Kristin Powers, Administrator, Community Preservation Fund. I am including all details below about the meeting and your options to comment.
I am grateful for your support in these efforts to keep 0 Harriet Ave. as open space.
