Hotel @ Fayette/Arlington & W. Squantum St.

After a long public process, the developers of the project, Cathartes, have made a change in the composition of the project.

Originally 140 hotel rooms over six floors, will now be 180 hotel rooms over five floors.

Because of this change, the developers will need to go back before the Planning Board for approval.

Held the first neighborhood meeting for this project on Tuesday, November 22, at Montclair School.

The developers of this project, Arista Development, presented a proposed project of 100 units over six floors.

This project will need to go through the typical vetting of the Planning and Zoning Boards, and Conservation Commission.

North Quincy MBTA Station Parking Lot

A neighborhood meeting was held on Tuesday, November 15, at the Kennedy Center.

Attendees were provided an opportunity to provide input into different aspects of the project.

Traffic & Parking

On Tuesday, November 1, the director of Traffic, Parking, Alarms & Lighting (aka “TPAL”), the city’s Traffic Engineer, and a representative from the Quincy Police Department spoke with a large group at Wollaston School.
-
This meeting was an opportunity for constituents of Ward 3 to share their concerns about traffic and parking issues.
-
Many suggestions and recommendations came from this meeting, which are currently under review.

Public Safety

On Monday, November 7, Lt. Dan Minton joined us at Wollaston School to discuss QPD public safety initiatives, and to learn about perceived and actual public safety concerns of constituents.
